9:30 - 10:30        Math

9:30- 10:15        Lesson/Activity:

  1. Do attached math worksheet.
  2. Practice multiplication facts. If you need practice, make flash cards with only the facts you need to memorize.

10:15- 10:30          Computer Time: ST Math or try https://www.abcya.com/standards/game

10:45- 11:30        Reading: Newsela.com

  1. Find the assignment that matches your reading level.
  2. Read: The Child with Your Name
  3. Complete activities
  4.  Try this out: https://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login Do the reading placement and try it out. Let me know what you think on Friday’s video conference.

11:30 - 11:45                Lexia: Do 15 minutes of Lexia.

11:45- 12:30        Lunch

12:30 - 12:00        Writing: Finish: The Child with Your Name 

  1. Use the graphic organizer and fill out the summary.
  2. Use the graphic organizer and answer the prompt: Describe the major problems, solutions, and turning points of the story.
  3. Look over your work and make sure you have the needed details.

12:15- 1:00                Social Studies Mission Project

  1. Go to google classroom.
  2. Work on Mission Project trifold project
  3. I added a slide show. You may do a google slide instead of the folder if you’d like.

1:15- 2:00                Reading 10-15 pages (library books, cartoons, MyOn, Scholastic News)

2:00 - 3:10        Parent choice

Recommendations for online access:

1. Have your child log in:  cloud.smusd.org

2. They will get a screen that shows clever, google classroom, google drive, etc... If it doesn't show clever, type Clever in search.

3. Access google sheets Work Completion: Click on Google Drive. Then click on Shared with me. Students will see a google sheet with a list of your class assignments. Fill it out each day.
