About Mrs. Trammell

WELCOME TO MY CLASSROOM
I have had the joy of teaching in San Marcos for 20 years, and I've been teaching fourth grade for the past 13 years. In fourth grade, my goal is to help children grow into independent problem solvers who are willing to take risks. You would be amazed at how much your child will change and grow.

MY FAMILY
I am married and have 2 children. My husband, Bill, is a retired Marine. He loves to fish, camp, and travel. My daughter, Faith, is on her way to college next year. She wants to be a dancer. Jack, my son, is going to be a freshman in high school. He is a Boy Scout and is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout. When he isn't scouting, he plays hockey or rides his bike. He love playing video games too. Last, but not least, are all of our pets. We have two dogs, a cat, a ball python, and two geckos.

MY EDUCATION
I went to elementary, junior high school, and high school in Connecticut where I grew up. I chose to go to University of Colorado in Boulder because I thought I wanted to be an architect. Well, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business. After graduating, I traveled for a year and then moved to Los Angeles where I worked at a large Japanese company. After 10 years, I decided to get my teaching credential at Cal State San Marcos because I realized how much I enjoy teaching others and kids are my favorite.
